Quote It sounds like your 2015 Lexus NX200t is experiencing a common issue known as “limp mode,” which is designed to protect the engine from damage. Here are a few potential causes: Overheating: Hightemperatures can cause the engine to overheat, triggering the reduced power mode to prevent damage Fuel Issues: Dirty or contaminated fuel can lead to reduced engine performance. Air Intake Blockage: Debris in the air intake system can restrict airflow, causing the engine to lose power. Exhaust Valve Issues: Worn valve guides can lead to improper exhaust valve sealing, affecting engine performance. Fuel Flow Control Valve: A stuck fuel flow control valve can also trigger this warning. Given the complexity of these issues, it’s best to visit your dealer for a thorough diagnostic check. They can read the trouble codes stored in the car’s computer to pinpoint the exact problem. Alternately, you can stop by an auto parts store and ask one of its employees to check for codes and identify a possible solution. Have you noticed any other symptoms or warning lights?
