taadow77
Hey guys - I was driving down the road with my rear and front fog on when all of a sudden my whole climate control panel turned off. Nothing now works let alone lights up. Does anyone know anything about this? Thank you in advance for any insight!!
jbarhorst2
Does your cigarette lighter still work? If not, it sounds like you blew that fuse, but that doesn't control the lighting - only the operation of the climate control. Tom
taadow77
Thanks Tom! I'll check it out just as soon as I find my lighter. God I hope that's the problem. Everything just went out all of a sudden. Thanks again!
xl8rguy
See if you have a coin in your cigarette lighter. That happened to me once and shut down my HVAC display. I felt pretty stupid when the dealership found it.
DLaxMan3
Is your audio screen messed up as well if it is you might wan to reset it, to do this remove number 15 and 20 fuses for 30 seconds. Chech your SC manual to make shure those are the right fuses controling your head unit it has been a while since i did it.
DLaxMan3
you can also check to see if any are blown, the fuse bax is the small box on the left side if you are sitting in the car.

taadow77
Alright, Jbar - the cigarette lighter doesn't work. It's probably just a fuse. Thanks again for the tip.
jbarhorst2
Let me know if you need help finding the right one. But, there should be a little map on the inside of your fuse box cover. Tom
