Chris here again..

A while back, I mentioned that I drive a 96 Windom.. And noticed that the 97 model has a more angulated hood, and different sportier front spoiler.. When asking if I would be able to put it on my 96, someone said that I wouldnt be able to, as they have different serial numbers, and probably wouldnt match.. The problem I have is, that to me, the shape and size of all Windom Es's looks relatively similar, all the way from 91-92 models, onto the 2001 model.. In saying that, it is just cosmetic changes that I have noticed in them over the years of this make..

So then, why would it be such a difficult thing to do?

Please help me understand!

the body's are different. the engine's are different. the bolt patterns would most likely be quite different as well. i'm not sure if the chassis changed, but i'm sure something with the frame had changed in the newer generation to make it as safe as possible.

i'm not completely sure, but i really don't think it would work. if you've got the money to try it, go for it.

first gen es i really have no ideas about except it was really a camry with different lights and ended in 91

the second gen is 92-96 on a mcv10 chasiss

and the 97-01 is the mcv 20

third is the newest mcv 30

the part will not fit unless heavily modified an even then it would be lots of bondo to smooth them out as it has different lines and the front bumper alone has a sharp curve compared to yours with a slopeing curve
