dwd01 Posted June 2, 2003 Posted June 2, 2003 My daughter managed to lose the battery out of her key. Can someone tell me what tyoe of battery is needed for replacement? Its easier to get to radio shack than the dealer. The owners manual does not provide any battery specs.
SKperformance Posted June 2, 2003 Posted June 2, 2003 the dealer is simplest as i can;t remember the cr ???? something # how do you lose the battery as it is kept in by a screw?
dwd01 Posted June 2, 2003 Author Posted June 2, 2003 For some reason the screw is missing. Don't know how it came loose.
SKperformance Posted June 2, 2003 Posted June 2, 2003 then you need to find a way to get a new screw first
zeta Posted June 3, 2003 Posted June 3, 2003 i had lost the screw to one of my master keys too. i've begun to use the other one. it's hard to find a screw that fits without going to the lexus dealer. the battery # is CR1216 hope this helps.
steviej Posted June 3, 2003 Posted June 3, 2003 these batteries can be found at any atuopart store, CVS, Wallgreens, radio shack, etc. you might find the screw at any clock repair/watch repair shop, hobby store, model store, hardware store, or the dealer of course. steviej
