ArmyofOne Posted October 24, 2004 Posted October 24, 2004 i was wondering if y'all could tell me what the role of the Roman Catholic Church was in the Creation of music of the middle ages. as i understand it, they were the ones that developed it beginning with pope gregory the great, hence the nameGregorian chant...what do you guys know about it...i have serious writers block...HELP! BTW, the class is Music Appreciation 2316. thanks!
