sunman Posted October 23, 2004 Posted October 23, 2004 I get a humming sound at high speed. Faster than 75mph. It keeps fading in and out. Can it be a wheel bearing?

SKperformance Posted October 23, 2004 Posted October 23, 2004 To test a noisy bearing just turn a bit left and a bit right and keep doing it at higher speeds to listen for a change in the noise increase/decrease.

ArmyofOne Posted October 24, 2004 Posted October 24, 2004 well its not likely a belt, it would be going faster than that, same with a bearing, although i have heard bearings sound like that...i wouls do what SK suggests. if that yeilds no results, check/clean your IAC valve...how many miles do you have on your ES?
