I own a 98 es300. Recently i found that dashboard lights started to dim and now eventually totall off and this is a problem when you drive at night. I suspected that this may be fuse problem, so I checked the relevant fuse box and did not find anything wrong with the fuse. The funny thing is: when I PULL OFF the fuse that controls the dashboard lights, the dashboard lights COME ON in all transmission positions (P,R,N,...) except the driving positiion (D). When I put the fuse back, all lights are off in any transmission position (P,R,N,D,...). Also, the radio light sometimes on sometimes off. So I wonder: is this a fuse problem or a bulb problem. Can anyone help? Thx.
