No manner how many times I lock and unlock using both the remote control or the interior door locks, I can't open the door. What to do? Unfortunately, it's a "hanging" actuator in the door mechanism and has to be taken care of by a Lexus dealer. Sorry that there's no easier fix. jim blazevich Posted October 17, 2004 Share Posted October 17, 2004 I had similar problems on my new GX. You have to take the vehicle to the dealership and have them put a new lock mechanism on it.
