Mr. Curious
ive found revving it to 3k produces an ideal launch for me. of course, my wheels and tires arent stock so this may not apply to you.
sc_toy
Mr. Curious: How do you get your 400 to rev up to 3000 rpm without braking the tires loose? You got a manual conversion on there??? 94lex..: now I don't know if you're SC300 will act the same as my 400, but I did about 15-20 passes at the strip on two different occasions within the last couple months. I tried many launches and found that leaving the trac off, and trans braking (hold the brake hard, and push the gas at the same time to bring the revs up, then mash the gas and let off the brake at the same time when you want to launch).... That worked well for me, best thing to do is go to the strip and practise, no one in here can tell you how to drive, just go out and try things and see what works for you and your car. Good luck! It's addictive! Aaron
southernsc300
rev up to 2500-3k and let off the brake. But the best thing to do is buy a torque converter and a supra lsd for massive launch
