pemarsh
For the stock tire size for the 04 or 03 lx 470, has anyone replaced tires with a different brand other than dunlop??????? If so, which brand did you use????? I am having trouble finding tires in this size (275 60-18).
GRD
It depends on what you want in a tire. The Michelin LTX M/S is hard to beat for a street/mild offroad truck. The nitto terra grappler and the BF Goodrich AT is best for street/offroad. Go to www.tirerack.com and enter your vehicle info. This will give you most of the tires available for your truck. jarcara
I agree on the Michelin LTX M/S they are awsome tires and have read nothing but great reviews. Not sure why lexus changed from them.
dougjohn2
the come with either the dunlops or the michelins. I don't think Lexus switched brands. For good on road and mild offroad, staying with Michelin, I'd rather go with the cross terrains rather than the LTX M/S. Better tread pattern on the cross terrains for off-road, but still good on road manners. That said, mine's sporting Goodyear MTRs.
Victor
I've had nothing but success with the Michelin LTX M/S. I'll never buy another tire for my rig. Used them on my Landcruiser too. Awesome tires. Victor
dougjohn2
You might check with Nitto tires. They have a set called Terra Grapplers which should come in the right size for your 470. Just another option for you...
