GuyTelefunken
Why do you think you need to do it now? Note: If this procedure needs furthur explaination, you don't belong doing it.
TWINTURBO619
I need help cleaning the Throttle Body. I have never done it before. Any info would be helpful Well if I'm right, you own a gs4 correct? well to clean out the throttle body, just removed the air intake pipe from the throttle body. Grab your throttle body cleaner and dampen a small rag with it. With a long flathead screw driver, wrap the dampen cloth at the tip, open up the butterfly of the throttle body and begin to swab around... this will give it a good cleaning... DO NOT spray throttle body cleaner directly into the throttle body. Good luck
nastboi
Thanks Twinturbo619! I will do it this weekend. As for Guytel, I have changed the plugs, the brakes, and oil. I am not a damn mechanic by trade, but I do wish to do somethings myself. I am not an automobile scientist like my brethren so I am not afraid to ask for help. I am pretty sure that you started somewhere at the bottom of the totem pole like I am doing now. Thanks
GuyTelefunken
My apologies for the cynicism. The procedure just seemed too elementary to me, especially now that you have admitted to doing far more complicated operations. Once again, sorry for the bitchy tone.
