magat1 Posted September 14, 2004 Posted September 14, 2004 Hello, I know this topic has been brought up, I would like to buy the supra lowering springs, do I just need the rear shocks or the whole shock/strut assembly? all around? Thanks
Calvin L Posted September 14, 2004 Posted September 14, 2004 everything..gogogogogogoogo. anyway, even if you did just get the rear Supra TT shocks you'd be way lower at the tail (roughly 1.3 inches I believe) the TT shocks lower you about 1.5 inches all around and the eibach Supra springs lower you another 1.3 - 1.5. so yea, in the end, you'll be lowered about 2.5.
axis8758 Posted September 18, 2004 Posted September 18, 2004 I just completed swapping out my springs and shocks. I'm running Tanabe springs and KYB AGX both Supra specs. I have to say that Calvin L's remark is correct that you will get a good drop on your car. I think my drop is about 2 inches.
kmn5 Posted September 19, 2004 Posted September 19, 2004 yeah the SC with TT Shocks and TT Eibach's will drop the car 2.5"
RonW Posted September 19, 2004 Posted September 19, 2004 A question, I have read that lowering an SC more then 1" makes proper wheel alignments difficult?
Mr. O Posted September 20, 2004 Posted September 20, 2004 yea it does but its not bad.. i have supra bilstein shocks and eibach springs and its pretty low. i think i have 1.7% of negative camber in the front.. still the car drives very strait and there in no substantial drift or pull in the ride. I guess the tires should be rotated more often but thats about it.
