I might want to go to 18x10. on the 18x9 I would use 265-35-18 can I use the same for 18x10? It just may look a little more stretched and the sidewall will be a little shorter. It is better to use 275/35s on the x10 wheel. As for can you tell? Yes, especially if you use the 275s. I went from 265/35s on 18x9.5 to 275/30s on 20x10. I know the specs are different but from behind, I gained .5" with the rims while gaining 10mm with the tires. Obviously, the two gains are not independent but the .5" gain allows the 275s to mount a certain way. Looking from behind, I an totally tell how much meatier the tires are.
