It just may look a little more stretched and the sidewall will be a little shorter. It is better to use 275/35s on the x10 wheel. As for can you tell? Yes, especially if you use the 275s. I went from 265/35s on 18x9.5 to 275/30s on 20x10. I know the specs are different but from behind, I gained .5" with the rims while gaining 10mm with the tires. Obviously, the two gains are not independent but the .5" gain allows the 275s to mount a certain way. Looking from behind, I an totally tell how much meatier the tires are.
tom23 Posted September 13, 2004 Posted September 13, 2004 Hi, I'm looking at buying some 18" LS430 factory wheels. The specs are: Tires 245-45-18's Wheel 18x7.5. Will these fit OK on a GS300? Any thoughts on whether this is a good / not so good thing to do? (currently I only have 16" Rims) Thanks.
