brianpavlovic Posted August 21, 2004 Posted August 21, 2004 I was just wondering what my 1994 ES300 worth? It has 120K and everything works fine and looks great? The insurance people tried to explain that the reason why I pay so much is because the car's book value is a lot! I have a 2001 Nissan Maxima and I pay as much for it as I do my Lexi? What the heck? -Brian :chairshot:
Matador Posted August 21, 2004 Posted August 21, 2004 They probably use a kelly blue book or some such document to determine your payments. The little blue book said my old 91 LS400 was worth around 7k...a dealer laughed at me But I agree with chuck's quote, sounds about right.
brianpavlovic Posted August 21, 2004 Author Posted August 21, 2004 Thanks guys! I just thought that a car that was very safe and 10 years old would be cheap to insure. I guess that no matter what the age, a Lexus is still a lexus! -Brian
