silvermate Posted August 18, 2004 Share Posted August 18, 2004 i had a similer problem a while back...............does the car make the same noise when shifting from park into gear?? my problem was a simple rear end gear bushing was worn, and when the rear end would torque it was hitting metal to metal since the bushing was worn there was no cushion.......it was a 15 dollar part and a simple fix.
