lexxus Posted August 17, 2004 Share Posted August 17, 2004 I just left a mechanic, and talked about my 400 doing the same thing. When I push it, it pings. Well, this mechanic smiled and asked, "Have you changed the timing belt?" I said, "Yes, it had to be done right after I got the car a few months ago." He said, "Those things have to be put on perfectly, otherwise the car will never run right." He advised me to go back to where I had the job done, and have it checked.
