knmaynard
Console drops 1/4 inch with an audible clunk when my arm rests on it - think I can do a quick fix, but any tips on fixing? Unacceptable to live with. Unbelievable car, incredibly fast when punched at low speeds. Will post pics soon, it's been sitting in a garage the last 7 years, only has 46k miles on it (actually, owner put 14k miles in the past seven years, so it mostly sat in the garage). Paint is perfect, and there is not a single ding anywhere on the car. Taking off tomorrow to spend the entire day detailing inside and out. The motor doesn't look cleaned, it looks brand new! New brakes squeaking a little bit, hoping this goes away (all stock, dealer did brake job before delivering).
JDOwen2
If you mean the console lid I had the same problem. The small round pads that the lid rests on were missing. I replaced and all is well.
knmaynard
Great, thanks! I'm feeling stupid, I was going to muck around with the catch. Pads are definitely quick/easy fix, can pick them up anywhere. Thanks. This forum is awesome, I've learned a ton in a very short time.
