Trans And Motor Mount Replacement/when ?

At what mileagea/are you guys replacing the trans and motor mounts ? Are they being done due to failure or proactively ? My '91 has 150k on it and I'm wondering if they should be changed now. I know this is one of those things (like struts) that wear gradually and sometimes you don't know how bad they are until you change them.

my 95 LS has only 87k & due to some other threads here re: klunking when putting in gear, I am going to have my indie check the mounts next time I take it in for the oil change...

just change them both and with 150k miles you will be surprised. if you can fell the engine at all then chnage them.
