Do you know how to program the doors to lock when the car is shifted into Drive, and unlock when shifted to Park? The dealer wants $99 to program this. SW03ES Posted August 10, 2004 Share Posted August 10, 2004 It is programmable on every post 1997 Lexus through the C-BEST setting. $99 is rediculous as all they do is plug a pad into the computer and change the setting. Most dealers do it free. Any other dealers in the area you can call? On my ES this is driver-programmable. Do you have the owners manual? scottl Posted November 12, 2005 Share Posted November 12, 2005 I was told by my dealer that isn't an option on the 2001 rx's. Is there somewhere that says that it is available?
