hammo400 Posted May 12, 2003 Share Posted May 12, 2003 Hi All! Just had the problem I was having with my Cruise Control not working solved, though it wasn't cheap. Turns out the Spiral Cable in the steering wheel - it's the device that allows the wires for the electronics controlled from the steering wheel to "turn " with the wheel - was shot. This explained my SRS light on, my Cruise and Horn not working. Replacement for this 'rare-fail' was $280.00. There is no way to get a similar Toyota product , nor an aftermarket one.
