Rear Strut Stuck

Recommended Posts

Hi,

One of the rear struts gets stuck with the chicken-bone-like joint part that connects to the lower sway bar occasionally when I make sharp right turns.

I think the sway bar is shifting to one side at hard (well...even at moderate turns) weight shift causing the joint portion from the chicken-bone to hit the strut and sometimes get stuck there until some force is applied to reverse it.

With the strut stuck, the right side of the car is noticeably more elevated than the left.

What can I do to fix this happening?

Thanks.

for one you can try to determine what is wrong by looking at it and seeing what is worn and replace it. my guess is that the sway bar mount/bushings arent holding the sway in place anymore. you can also try to change the links to the arms.
