DIYAndy Posted December 6, 2022 Posted December 6, 2022 Anybody used a memory saver while doing 12V battery swap on 2015 hybrid ES300h? I have read that this was not recommended for some earlier year model Toyota hybrids. Thanks
Les Lex 2018 Posted December 10, 2022 Posted December 10, 2022 My 2022 manual shows 12V charging posts inside the relay box up front. If I connect another battery at that under hood point, which it says I can, I don't see why I can't then remove the old battery without losing power to the system. Best way is park a car in front of yours (engine has to be OFF) and jumper your car to theirs. Then replace the battery. Then disconnect the jumper.
