Battery Memory saver DYI 12V battery swap on hybrid

Anybody used a memory saver while doing 12V battery swap on 2015 hybrid ES300h?

I have read that this was not recommended for some earlier year model Toyota hybrids.

My 2022 manual shows 12V charging posts inside the relay box up front.

If I connect another battery at that under hood point, which it says I can, I don't see why I can't then remove the old battery without losing power to the system. Best way is park a car in front of yours (engine has to be OFF) and jumper your car to theirs.

Then replace the battery.  Then disconnect the jumper.
