MasonHarrell99
I've been doing a starter rebuild on my 95 SC400, and just got the upper intake put back on. I noticed a small grey clip that doesn't seem to belong to anything up here, and I'm really worried that I'll have to take it all back off just because of the clip. Can anybody help identify this clip and where it goes??
Lexus Owners Club
Usually if the plug is covered in surface dirt on the connection end and there are no issues with the engine then chances are it is a dummy plug or one that was not used for a particular function (e.g. engine heater, etc) and would not worry about it. May be worth applying some petroleum grease to the connections to avoid any further contamination occurring
dcfish
Appears to be unused ??? OP, Is that debris inside the plug ?
MasonHarrell99
I'm not sure tbh. I didn't look that close. I did find where it plugged in, and the engine seems to be running fine. So I'm choosing to assume I guessed and got lucky. 1
