justinrb3
Recently, my check engine light came on and I took it to Autozone where they will get the OBD2 code for you for FREE. The code is P0161-HO2S Heater Circuit Malfunction, Bank 2 Sensor 2. I haven't been able to find any more about this malfunction on the internet and would like to know how expensive it is to fix or if it is something I can do myself, been somewhat knowledgeable about car repair? justinrb3
Thanks for the rely ksperformance, but I have a couple more questions. Where on the car is the bank 2, sensor 2 sensor located and is it an after catalyst or before catalyst sensor?
SKperformance
are you planning on doing the work yourself?
justinrb3
I was thinking about it, is that a bad idea? I've done a lot of work on my previous cars and used a Haynes book as a reference. I can't find a Haynes book for my is300 but found the repair manuel for about $200. I was hoping this repair was simple enough that I didn't have to drop the $200 on the book or how ever much the dealer would charge.
