BlueM789 Posted June 8, 2004 Posted June 8, 2004 Hi all, Recently bought a ES330 with Nav. Let my dad borrow for a couple of months right now and was wondering if the Nav can play DVD movies? I've heard roumors that the Nav system is supplied by Eclipse, but the aftermarket version plays DVD mobies. So is there a way to modify the system to play DVD movies? Or has anyone tried inserting a DVD movie to see what happens?
amf1932 Posted June 8, 2004 Posted June 8, 2004 Simply put....NO! There are some companies that can do modifications to your NAV system to play movies, but once that is done you lose the Lexus warranty. It is illegal to show movies in the front passenger seating area. ;)
