    • Happy new owner of 2025 NX350H Atomic Silver paint,  premium package less than 2 weeks after delivery i noticed a couple of very light scratches in the Chome trim surrounding the small fixed rear passenger window panel. the scratch is very light, will not catch a  gently rubbed fingernail across it, and appears to be limited to the top finish coat on the chrome piece, Dealer service would be happy to charge me $180 for the replacement part and then refer me to a "glass shop" for installation.  In leiu of going down that path i'm curious if thre might be a diy option i could try first. this feels like it would likely be remedied by scratch filler / and surface coat of some type In the past, i have had pretty good results with nu finish scratch repair and polish on my 2009 and 2015 Toyota products. looking for  recommendations on  this fix as well as some  thoughts on adding coat of ceramic or polymer on top  to provide a lil extra protection going into winter.
    • We need a service manual (shop manual) for a 2011 GX460. Ebay lowest price is $350.00 Is it available anyplace reputable for less?  Thank you, Toni
    • I bought my wife a 2024 Lexus ES350 back in May.  I hate donut spare tires so every vehicle I own has a full size spare. I bought a matching spare OEM Lexus wheel, Bridgestone OEM tire, and I called the dealer and was given TPMS part number 5500117 (Denso).  I had the everything installed and at the 10,000 mile service the new spare was rotated in.  We were heading to dinner last night and about 30 miles after the rotation the TPWS system light came on and a message saying take the car to the dealer appeared.  The car would not read ANY of the TPMS sensors as all of the tires showed dashes.  After stopping and conducting a visual inspection of the tires, all appeared to be fine and the trip was continued. Today I took the new spare off and re-installed the factory tire.  Within a couple of miles the system reset and the warning light went off.  The system was now reading all 4 tires as normal. I did some more research and found another part number on parts.lexus.com but when I pulled up the number (42607-OE020), the website says "THIS DOES NOT FIT YOUR 2024 LEXUS ES350". I found another part number on www.lexusoeparts.com of 42607-53020. Has anyone had success with adding a full size spare with TPMS?  I was told my the Lexus service manager that the ES cannot be programmed to read 5 wheels with TPMS, and I was told at Discount Tire that the new Toyota/Lexus is a learning system that reads whatever TPMS is put on each position and it is not necessary to "learn" the computer like in other makes. Thanks in advance
    • in the spring i got new tires and had all the TPMS sensors replaced (purchased from Lexus dealer in Texas from ebay) loaded all new ID's & had tire pressure symbol as i left the shop (Costco) my mechanic checked & 1 was reporting 3psi, not 30, had it replaced, mechanic loaded new ID a few months later had a rim leak, checked the tires and found the low 1 on the 3rd tire, added air, had tire repaired a couple of days later, only 1 tire pressure is on the display, not yellow tire symbol, just 3 empty slots had my mechanic check today, all sensors have good battery & appear OK he reloaded all ID's, on the way home i had 2 tires reporting, which sometimes happened what can i do to reset the system in the car?
    • Hi all. Long time lurker; today, after coming home from a road trip, I felt my fender liner crack as I parked into the garage and found a loose screw and pieces on the floor... I’m wondering what experiences yall have had with replacing it yourself (where did yall get parts? And videos yall recommend?) or know how much it cost to get it replaced at the dealer? It’s a 2024 UX250h for reference. Thanks in advance!
