  2. I have a 22 Rx 350 F Sport. I had my oil changed a few weeks ago and have been having a problem with my compass since then. When I’m driving on a highway and pass an exit the right side of the screen does the exit list as usual but after you pass the exit instead of going back to the full radio screen the compass comes up. I can close the compass but every time I pass an exit I have to do it again. I called my dealership and took it there but they don’t know what’s wrong with it. They want me to make an appointment and bring it back in, I’m wondering if anyone else has had this issue surely it’s something simple. Thank you!
  3. Hello, I am having a heck of a time trying to find a manual that isn't way out of my budget. I'm hurting for money right now and it would be nice to get one at a price that wasn't going to break me. Free wood be ideal. But I know that won't be a reality. Any leads on a pdf would be greatly helpful. Thank you in advance.
  4. i have a 2001 lexus gs300 i was having issues with the driver lock actuator. i replaced all 4 door actuators with oem and they all work good besides the driver door. im having issues with using the key fob now as it wont unlock the doors the battery in the key fob is brand new and the light on the fob lights up when i press the buttons. i did some testing and i unplugged the driver actuator and the key fob works but when its plugged in it doesnt work when i use the key in the key hole on the driver side the car alarm goes off but if i unlock it from the passenger side it doesnt. i did get another actuator still oem and it still doesnt work. does any one have any idea what the issue could be?? thank you in advance
  5. Snap on part on left rear side of luggage rack flew off. Anyone know where can obtain one. Searches did not reveal a silver one available.

  7. Hello, Mike. You may want to check with a Lexus dealership parts department person.

  9. They have been made by Aisin for decades and Japanese producers do not switch suppliers easily at all. Long term relationships are how they run their businesses. I would assume they made them for those too.
  10. Let me refine and simplify my issue. Anything not listed below works fine. -Key remote will pop trunk. It only beeps if I push the Lock button but not Unlock. Won’t unlock/lock doors. -Power locks don’t work with or without key remote. Locks only work manually. -Window switch only works after I lock/unlock the door, then works fine. Master switch only controls drivers window -Horn doesn’t work - fuse is good and I can hear the horn relay clicking when horn is pressed, so that rules out bad switch or clockspring. -Dome light doesn’t work on “door” setting, but works when switched to “on” position. -Drivers side seatbelt height adjuster doesn’t work, passenger side does -Side mirror adjuster doesn’t adjust either mirror -Power folding mirrors don’t work, mirror vibrator works -Seat/steering wheel memories won’t program or work - all seat and steering wheel adjusters do work. All fuses are good. Haven’t checked every relay though. No CEL or Airbag lights.
  11. Well I have the supplies but have not performed the change yet. I have had the battery disconnected a couple times and that seemed to help for a while - no idea why. Checking with Lexus the transmission has the latest software.
  12. I own a 2000 RX 300 first my parking brake light remains on even though the parking brake is not on, next the windows including the sun roof would roll down when I touched the driver's window button or when I turned the ignition key to off position. Now the engine light comes on and off and there is a different sound coming from the engine. Overwhelmed with all I took the vehicle to a Toyota dealership near me and was told that I have sludge and the engine needs to be replace. I not sure what to do. Please give some advise.
  13. Looking for a transfer case for my 2004 GX470
  14. Hi there, Got some videos on YouTube, but found someone in Atlanta that can help me with changing the compressor. Thanks for the suggestions.
  15. More fun! After replacing the oil pressure sensor I did not have the low oil light pop up, however I also did not do the O/D off and on to see if it would trigger. Going to try that again this weekend. However more codes showed up! Current list: P0125 - Several reports say this is related to the O2 sensors. I am going to check all the wiring and make sure they're plugged in and then possibly replace the O2 sensors if that does not fix it. P1130 - Rear bank air fuel / O2 sensor needs to be replaced... hmm this is interesting... P1133 - Upstream O2 sensor is bad... well another O2 sensor, wonder if they used non-denso parts. Going to clean the MAF and see if it helps. P1153 - Yet another O2 / Air fuel sensor. This is interesting! Definitely going to check for vacuum leaks as well as the current O2 sensors. P1351 - I have gone through roughly 3 different sensors, one OEM Denso from a junkyard, one NGK, and one generic from Amazon. I think the engine may be slightly out of time and it's due for a timing belt replacement so that may fix the issue.

  18. Alas there is no 'ux 300' page on the forums, but I thought I would comment on my new Lexus. I just got my ux300h this tuesday. Here are some of my first impressions: 1. LOTS of gadgets (I came from a 2012 ct200h!) 2. I got the 10/year/12,000$ 'gadget breaks $7000 repair bill' lottery ticket 3. I like the drive, and being higher 4. I DONT LIKE the expensive tires $450.00! And a VERY concerning "These tires only last 20,000 miles" 5. I got the tire insurance 6. GREAT manuals (Its nice to see these in 2024!) 7. VERY nice android auto experience nary a blip. 8. The charger (wireless) seems a bit weak, but it seems to work 9. LOTS of usb C( YEA) ports (2) 10. Lexus safety 3.0 functions seem mostly good, adaptive cruise control nice, lane assist, not so much 11. I LOVE the position of the screen, its the first in car screen that I haven't hated. 12. Nice ride, but like most ux'es its a bit noisy on the road (ride that is). 13. GREAT mic for cell phone, the first one I have EVER had in a car that doesn't sound like a tin can! 14. I would have liked a pHEV, but they were NX only and WAY spendier than I wanted. 15. NICE auto dim for the high beams and automatic lights. Its a nice color, and I mostly like it, but I was sad it wasn't an AWD model. I do get better gas mileage, and since its North Carolina we don't exactly have evil winters. The cruise control takes some getting used to WAY too many buttons, but it seems to work once you read the manual. And I do like the moving the garage homelink under the rear view mirror. Its hard getting used to after 12 years of having my old video screen in the rear view mirror. If I were to give it stars, so far **** and minus 1 because of very expensive run flat tires.
  19. Thanks for your input. I had no idea that there was a VVT position sensor. I found it in an exploded view while searching for something else.
  20. I own a 2023 Lexus ES350 and I am finding the floor board in the right back passenger side soak and wet after using my air-conditioning. I tested the leaking sun-roof theory and that was not it. I also left the car sitting in a very hard rain-storm and that was not it, It seems to be directly related to the air-conditioning. The issue with this is that if it is coolant, that solution is very dangerous when inhaled. I wonder why this seems to be an issue with these vehicles.
