If interested, I've decided to sell my 94 SC400, 108k, new trunk lifts, tires and brakes. Dark green& tan int. Needs D/S seat work. Runs very strong & quiet. Everything works well. The front lamps on the lower most part of the bumper cover on pre 1995 cars are cornering lamps, after 1995 they were changed to fog lamps. The wiring plugs are different and the housings don't interchange. Be prepared to splice connectors.

Mine does the same thing. You need to have the fuel tank sender calibrated. Not very hard but your gas tank has to be empty or very close to that.

When I fill up the tank the fuel needle never reaches the full line.  It reaches the 3/4 line or a hair higher.  I swapped out gauge clusters and seem to have the same problem.  Any ideas on what it might be?  Thanks

Do youself a favor and pay Lexus the money. If you've never done a major repair such as this, taking an SC dash apart is opening a can of worms that will lead to MAJOR trouble. You could wind up triggering an airbag leading to very serious injury or completely screwing up some other system.  I have a 94 SC400 and have had the display out to relamp it so I know what you're getting into.
