They said the part is $31.54 plus tax...for a rubber ring...ridiculous...
Anyway, one of my twin exhausts is fine, so I guess I only need just one of those rings for the one that is dangling right?

there is no need to replace something that isn't broken yet.

Well, it's not that it need welding. It's actually missing the rubber ring. I looked at the other which is fine and determined this was the case.the rubber hanger attaches the mufflers hanger to the point on the cars hanger. is one of the 2 holes ripped.
most exhuast shops will do it for $ 10-15 if it only needs a bushing for the hanger or to rewled a hanger.
Perhaps I could buy it from a garage that does muffler work...

if both metal hangers are still in place then that is all you need.
