Sreich123
I have a Lexus IS300 2001. Last night my windows were getting foggy with the cold air on (yes it was working fine) so my fiancé started playing around with the temperature for the windshield and put it up to about 75. Well when he went to put it back on cold air, it just kept blowing hot air. We tried restarting the car, letting it sit for a while. It was recharged last year. Everything is connected, no blown fuses. Like I said it was working fine 2 mins before the heat was put on. Please help! I'm in GA. This heat sucks! Lexus_DK
Check to see for any signs of coolant leaks. Make sure the engine isn't overheating. Have engine running with ac on and inspect the coolant temp gauge. Also, Make sure the cooling fans are kicking on. If your stumped at this point, I'd have a good shop check out the ac system, make sure it wasn't overcharged with refrigerant. Maybe the ac compressor is failing or locking up.
