jimbshaw
I want to switch out the driver's seat warmer control on my 2007 LS 460 (I bought a good used one). Does anyone know how to get it out? I had no problem getting into the console of my old LS 430, but I can't figure this newer one out. (I'd like to find a diagram or instructions to do it myself, because I'm not sure if my dealer will want to install my used switch for me.) jimbshaw
I just got a reply on another forum and was sent to this YouTube link: http://redirect.viglink.com/?format=...%20-%20YouTube Using this video I got into my center console and switched my defective seat warmer control out with a $50 eBay used part in about 20 minutes. Everything now works great. BTW, my situation was that the little indicator lights on the control were acting strangely, so I diagnosed my problem as the switch as opposed to the seat wires. I got lucky, and all is good. I imagine the dealer would have hit me pretty hard to put in one of their replacements.
