Andyboy980 Posted February 14, 2016 Share Posted February 14, 2016 I have a 02 ls430 and recently the vsc,check engine and a warning light came on I was told to check the gas tank cover which I did, the light usually comes on as I began to drive. 2ton Posted February 15, 2016 Share Posted February 15, 2016 I had my independent mechanic run the codes when this warning occurred on my '04. A single O2 sensor near the engine was tripping the code. Of course, this one (of 4) sensor was in really in a tight area of the exhaust pipe. I let the mechanic replace it. I bought the sensor at Advance Auto, reasonably priced, and went ahead and replaced the other three sensors myself (as the car is 12 years old), @ a 30 minute job.
