helpmehelpher Posted January 22, 2016 Share Posted January 22, 2016 I'm reading articles about replacing the antenna mast of a 2001 rx300. I'm trying to remove and replace the antenna. like i read, i've removed the threaded piece that holds the antenna in. i've turned on and off the radio and HEARD the motor running. I'm unable to remove the antenna from the side of the car. its stuck in there. with the radio OFF, i grab ahold of the antenna. i have a friend turn the radio ON and i pull tension straight up. its only comes to about 12 inches in total out of the car, it never fully releases and comes out. what am i doing wrong? everyone makes it sound so easy, and the youtube video also seems like a breeze. help! 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
