98 Lexus Gs 300 Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor

I have a 1998 Lexus GS 300. It has 285XXX miles on it. I drove it down to Arkansas from Texas (3 hour drive) and the check engine light came on. I got it to an auto zone and had the code read and it popped up with P0710 which indicates a fault in the transmission fluid temperature sensor and another code P0500 vehicle speed sensor. I was able to get the vehicle speed sensor and put it on my self but I cannot find the transmission fluid sensor. I called the Lexus dealership and they said they don't even carry the part and I cannot find anything online. It seems as if the part does not even go onto my car. My car will start and I can drive it but it will turn off after about 1 minute of being on. The transmission had started to shift when I drove it to auto zone to get the engine light checked. Help please!
