I'm the second owner of a RX300 and love it! The mileage is around 57,755.
1. VSC and Check Engine light are on (I checked the gas cover) and stays on.
2. Front passenger side window is temperamental and sometimes won't rise until all windows are opened and then closed (and repeat until passenger window goes up). Any suggestions?
3. Have been advised that a 60K scheduled service inspection for 60K will be about $1,156 plus tax. Any alternatives to spending this amount on a diagnostic inspection such as just getting a new timing belt or new brakes?

Wow, I have a similar problem with one of my rear windows. We keep all the windows locked because of the shenanigans we have to go through to get it to go up again.
If you Google around or search here and other Lexus forums you should be able to find out exactly what the dealer does at 50k. Or ask them.
