my dad bought a factory 12 cd changer, amp, and head unit for our 92 sc400, it didnt have a cd player before, how much should it cost to get it all installed do you think?

Did you get the wiring harness from the dash to the trunk ?

:( i dont think it came with one, how much do those usually run? One of my friends had 2 alpine 12s and an amp in his trunk and i know he sold them but still has the wiring, could that be used? he had a big blue wire running from the headunit to the trunk and some other wires.

If the car never had a cd changer in the trunk check behind the trunk liner for factory harness in the passenger side rear wheelwell and/or behind the back seat on the same side. If it is prewired from the factory your in business. If not I can get you a custom made better than factory wiring harness made to order. Keep us informed. It will look something like this:

i feel silly - I always thought the only available options were the heated seats and traction control... I thought they all had the same stereo
