makanouchi
Hi Everyone, I think my 92 SC400 has a bad ignition switch....looking for your opinions. So when I put the key in the ignition, I get the chime for "door open" and that's fine. When I turn the key to ACC or Ignition, nothing happens. There is almost no resistance when turning the key. No power to windows or stereo and of course no ignition. Is this fixable or do I need a new ignition switch? Thanks in advance for any help. VicSC300
Did you check the battery, connections, and fuses? (Make sure that your fuses are not blown and that your battery cables are securely fastened. I had to replace my OEM connectors when I installed my system because the OEM connects where deteriorated. schott1984
Yeah, my original OE connectors are messed up. Still functioning for now though.
