Im curious, what is it you put on the slots where the heated seats buttons would be.?
Blue L.E.D. projectors. The car was originally bought new in Florida, which is why it does not have heated seats. So instead of two plastic covers, I put LEDs.

It is a nice car but not worth that much . You would need justification with dealer maintenance records to really show it is in perfect health.
Upstate is a big place where abouts are you?

It is a nice car but with the rips in the seats ,it no longer matters that it is a coach edition as it would cost even more to repair the leather as well as not having the luggage. Do you still have the coach mats and emblems? If you want value from a resale put it back to stock meaning put the normal bulbs not some blue tinted ones unless you really get HID's. Remove the blue dash bulbs and either file them down to widen the angle or put normal ones on. It makes the car look cheap from my point of view.

Well the seats are going to be repaired if the car sells. No matter how much they cost. Like i said the car is in near mint, and will be perfect if someone buys it. Emblems are all there but the luggage was left with previous owner. Also the headlight bulbs are not some blue tinted ones, they are PIAA Spark blue bulbs, which cost me 60 bucks a piece. The only reason i didnt buy HID is because I do not have time to swap the projectors and I actually care enough to not blind the heck out of people so my car looks cool. The pics were in the afternoon so they might not look too good obviously. And as for the price, like i said i know its high but for less then 6K I would just keep it. I really dont want to sell but the money could help me right now. If someone did not like the additions I could easily take them off, however the price would still be no less then $5500.00. Funny thing is that people who really dont know about cars were actually willing to buy the car from me for $8K in current state, but I am not going to rip anyone off to my benefit. Just looking for a clean honest sell. I am located in Ellenville, NY. About 2 hours from NYC Thank you. Also I just checked KBB and the suggested retail on this car with the current miles is $8,115. Alot higher then my price.

Another thing to take into account has it ever been in an accident or repainted ?
Nope. All original. Amazingly the car has no dents or scratches, even the front has minimal wear for a 10 year old car. Thanks

Sorry to tell you but even from your pic i can tell there is a paint difference.
It is more likely a drivers side rear end hit as the trunk does not look like it lines up right . Also the front door to rear door has a major colour difference and the trunk lid and bumper look out of alignment.
Looks like a lack of enough pearl added to the base

Well you can run a carfax, it will come up clean. The car was never hit or painted. Also for clarification, if the rear end was hit, it would be on the carfax no matter what as NY is very strict on rear damage. Also if it was hit and the repair was more then $1000 (which on this car it would) the car would have a salvage title due to NY standards. It was more then anything the lighting, as you should know, pearl paint can look very different in some angles. In person there are no color diffrences, however at the same time the paint will not look brand new, from sun, wear and tear, and winter. But like I said, it looks impressive for the car's age. I also took a look at the pictures and I can even see that it was denfintly the lighting. I can post more pics up in different lighting and then you can see that the paint is all original. Also you must realize for a 96 there are 2 shades of pearl white from the factory. Opal white pearl - 046, and Diamond white pearl - 051. And when I took my car to the dealer a while back for the steering recall, he had the same year car in the garage with white paint, but it was only slightly different from mine. Thanks.

There is a distinct difference in colour on your driver and passenger doors.
I was an lease maturity inspector for Mercedes and to most people they would never notice the difference but there is one .
Who told you that a car with $1000 damage gets a salvage title?
Salvage titles are only from insurance companies when the repair is 80% of the vehicles cost which at that point they consider it a write off and payout the policy.
Throw up some more pics if you got em.

Things not being reported to car fax associated sources are very common.

I understand however the car was not in an accident or repainted. The discoloration is strictly due from sun, wear and tear because it was the most used door, rain, and especially winter in NY. In NY if a vehicle gets hit from the rear hard enough they total the car, No matter what. You must realize that when a vehicle gets hit from the rear the frame has a very high possiblity to be altered. I have done enough research, If I didnt know it I would comment on it. I have also had friends and family members in this situation. Since you seem to be soo interested in the car, why not buy it, lol. Thanks.
