I don't have much time now but will post more later. Yes, including pictures. :)

It's pearlescent white and in near mint condition with the very light color leather and birdseye, base model with those boring slotted wheels. I'll tint the windows, get some different (tasteful) wheels such as the current 5-spoke ones and call it done.

Previous cars from most recent going back:

1998 Jaguar XJ8
1998 BMW 528i/5
2001 Acura 3.2TL
1988 Mazda RX-7 convertible
1996 Honda Accord LX
1988 Honda Prelude
1985 Mitsubishi Starion Turbo
1979 BMW 320i
1966 Chevrolet Impala 327SS convertible

I'm blown away by this car. Aside from the competent but indefferent handling and styling, this car is the best sedan in the world. If they could make it steer like a R&P BMW it would be the best sedan in the world.

In case anyone's curious about the XJ8 ... it handles quite a bit better and has slightly better wood. That's it, everything else falls short of the LS430 and in most cases falls far short. The recent XJ-series jags are a lot more reliable than the ones up to 1994, but yes I know more than 10 guys by name in the various Jag shops here in town, a feat I expect not to duplicate with the LS!

I always thought the interior appointments on the Jag were excellent. I love the rear tray tables as well as the Connoley leather. I have always thought that their styling was one of the best out there in terms of exterior looks. The design hasn't changed much over the years and it hasn't needed to - it always seems up to date.

That aside, their engineeing has always been terrible. Ford has helped them recently, but not enough (I wouldn't buy a Ford either). I think you will find the LS an excellent choice and I hope it brings you many years of satisfaction.

Welcome to the club! Congratulations on your new Lexus. Agree - 17" 5 spoke Lexus wheels would look awesome. B)

Howdy Jason,

Congrats on your purchase. I'm in the Dallas area too and just bought my first LS and I'm enjoying it. Where did you buy it? I bought it from Sewell used...oops, pre-owned. So far I've put about 3K on it and haven't broken anything. Good luck...see you around! This is a great site.

I just bought my LS430 monday. I love it more than any car i have ever owned! I currently have 130 miles on it LOL. I'm afraid to drive it; i might break something!

I had a 1988 jaguar and hated it. Never get another one. It was comfortable, but boring. It was a 4 door, i forgot the name LOL I only had it for 4 months before i sold it to a friend for $1,500 and 4,000 miles more than i bought it for!! hehe that was a deal.
