This is pretty sad after owning my car for nearly 5 yrs.I dont know this.Today while sitting in my car with the key out of the ignition I noticed the steering wheel didnt lock.It doesnt turn freely it just doesnt have a set stopping point like a domestic does.It will turn about an eigth of a turn and then you cant turn it not because it is stopped but due to resistance.I thought I remembered it locking.Would someone mind checking theyres for me?Thanks

It locks completly only when turned all the way to one side.
It makes it eaiser to unlock the pin for the wheel.
