  1. Replacing cabin air filter in a 2003 Lexus ES 300 with an aftermarket filter. New filter has an arrow indicating air flow. Should the filter be installed with the arrow pointing UP or DOWN? Several conflicting opinions on other sites.
  2. Just wanting some opinions and maybe intake names and examples. I would like to get one very soon here and I'd like to know which ones people have gotten and how well they have worked for you. As well as installation troubles or ease. Thanks!
  3. I was driving down the road and randomly pressed on the accelerator my engine started to sputter, I noticed if i held the pedal down, i slowed, but if i pressed ever-so-slightly it would operate normal, as i was coming to the bottom of a hill i pulled off and let the engine rest for about 45 mins, (less then 500 yards from my house) I started back up with out problems, accelerated normally and pulled up to the house, when i got to the drive way and hit the gas, it sputtered and died. pushed it up and parked it. I called a few local places and they cant tell without a 200$ check (outrageous!) I can't drive the car knowing there could be a problem, I also know my check engine light is on for my O2 sensor, Could that be it? Any fixes you can offer?!!
  4. Hi, I recently bought RX350 2007. I have found that the rubber pipes coming out from the Engine air filter are bit messed up. Every small rubber pipe that is connected to the airfilter must be connected to some part in the engine. But in my RX350 2 of the small pipes are not connected any where. Can any body post some detailed picutures of the engine bay showing where the pipes from airfilter are coming from the going to. Thanks
  5. I have ES350 2009. Manufacturer recommends changing oil every 5 K. Do I have to change filter every time I change oil? What oil brand should I use so as not to void extended warranty? Thanks
  6. Ac Control Unit Fuse

Hey All, I have a 1992 Lexus LS400, 193k miles. It runs pretty good after a few repairs. Especially the little white wire in the trunk... Who'da thought... Anyway, heres the problem. My ac control unit quit working so I replaced the fuse, and about five minutes later, it blew again. I upped the fuse rating from 15 to 20. I see where people are saying its the cabin air filter. but I have torn open the passenger side panel only to find nothing... Someone please help me here. Side note- the was a jumper wire that came off the same fuse. I disconnected after the first fuse so i know its not that. hud
