  1. It finally worked when I turned my parking brake off. Thanks!
  2. What if the windows wont lower at all (except the driver side window)...even with the switch at each window. Am I doing something wrong? (and yes the car is on when I try)
  3. Moi, Take a look at iPod integration kit installation guide. That contains step by step instructions on what panels to remove, how to handle passenger side knee air bag and how to remove glove box. I did that when i installed iPod adapter kit (had to drill a hole for iPod cable to the glove box). You should be able to get the PDF at least from http://www.sewellpartsonline.com/import/pdf/iPod_LexB.pdf In general, these accessory installation guides like the iPod kit guide contain a lot of info on how to disassemble/assemble your is250. I've found them very useful and they are available for free (haven't found too many shop manuals for free). Very helpful advice, thank you! Is the nylon pry tool or the nylon trim removal tool anything special? If so, where can I get one?
  4. Hi guys...I'm a new forum member with an '06 IS 250. As a mechanical engineer I like to do all my own maintenance. I tried following the "do it yourself" instructions in the owners manual for replacement of the A/C filter. This led me to brake a servo arm that controls the A/C mode...which would be a $2000 replacement at the dealership. WARNING: even though the manual says "set the A/C system to recirculated mode", what they fail to mention is that the micro dust and pollen removal mode button must also be pressed to access the filter. Anyway, does anyone know how to safely remove the glove box so I can get back there to assess the damage? I would prefer not to risk having the airbags deploy and brake my neck. thanks in advance for the help
