  1. i thought i read that if seat warmer is not turned off it will discharge battery. maybe someone here knows if this is so.
  2. no one can venture an informed opinion?? just don't want to subject myself to the sales people if i'm being dopey. Thank's
  3. thanks for the post. will check this out.
  4. i have pre-owned es350=07. i've had it a year and the payoff is about the same as it's worth $20,000. was wondering if you think i could-in this market-get into an 09 as an even swap?? payments stay the same. i understand the lenght of payoff would increase. i just don't want to pay anything upfront other than tags/tax.
  5. GEEZ!! you too. i've been in the service business forever and am very successful. what i learned a long time ago and these bean counters can't seem to understand; is if you're honest and straight forward and do what's right you'll survive and do well forever. you can't hit a 'home run' on every service request; people are not that stupid anymore. why lose even one customer and the potential sales and service revenue they represent???? eventually yor market share starts to dry up. then what?? coupons? two for one deals?=going out of business sale!!
  6. bought a es350 from Cherry Hill Lexus. as you would expect sales team was very good. pleasant experince*. NOT the service dept. won't go again. they do give loaners, the area is very nice but in my opinion they try to run the bill up on you. they wanted $2000 for 45k maint.-[see post in regular forum]. would expect to pay more at dealer but didn't buy into what 'service adviser/SELLER' was saying i needed. when they did a phone followup on the service i did have done; i complained-very nicely. as you would expect [?] that was it, never got survey in mail never got a phone call from mgr. etc. now take car to local guy. forgo all the trapings. he knows he has my business,i don't 'shop around' or haggle over price. on his end i get only what i need and he has a long time satisfied customer. typical bean counters at work.--sales drives service but lousy service chase's sales.
  7. have 07 es350 with standard sound package, bought it pre-owned. not happy with audio, no matter how i set it. if i replace radio with after market--leave speakers alone--will that solve my problem??----sound is clear it's just not rich,if that makes any sense.----Thanks.
  8. Randy, thanks so much for explanation. i now understand this throttle thingie. my bf said to stop going to discount gas retailers.
  9. any idea, if in fact i needed 'throttle body'work [whatever that is] why my throttle bodies are going bad?? last winter the car was racing on startup and would only inch out in drive. i thought i was on ice,not the case, after 5 minutes was ok again??
  10. thanks for reply's. i thought brakes are a wear/tear item not covered by warranty?? i buy Citgo gas [plus] could that be why they said i need 'throttle body work' ??
  11. why would one want to turn off the ABS???
  12. couple of Q'S on my 07-350- 45000 mi.... step on brake car pulls hard to left side. dealer says brakes within specs. wants to do alignment. tires are in good shape.....also says i need $360. fuel system service, throttle body dirty??, if not done will ruin engine. can anyone educate a non-mech. female on this??? Thanks, A/M.
