  1. Im not overheating. I got out and checked the coolant, felt hoses ect and the car is fine. Ive been driving it for a few weeks like this and the car is fine. I replaced the bulbs that light the speedo and tach with led's and also added 2 bulbs that were missing. There were 8 spots for these bulbs but only 6 bulbs so I took the sockets from the 2 and L gears and moved them since I dont use those gears. I may get the fsm out tomorrow and test the sensor w/ a multimeter if possible.
  2. Just like it says in the title,I just changed the lightbulbs in my dash cluster and now my temp gauge doesnt work. I wen tback and made sure everything was assembled properly and it is. The gauge isn't totally dead, it stays normal while the car is cool but as soon as the car warms up it shoots directly to the top past the hot mark. This seems like a bad sensor to me but the fact that it happened right after I had the cluster out worries me. Any thoughts?
  3. The fact that it simpy, stopped makes it sound like your battery died. If you do need to program the remote though I found these instructions on clublexus.com. It was in the first gen section but they mention it may work on a 2nd gen. Sit in the driver's seat and lock all the doors. Unlock and open the driver's door. Insert the key into the ignition and remove it (don't turn it...just remove it). Using the MANUAL lock switch on the driver's door, lock and unlock the door 5 times. Close the door. Open the door. Lock and unlock the driver's door 5 times (I'm almost certain you use the MANUAL lock switch again, but if this sequence fails to work, try again with the power switch). Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "ON" position. Remove the key. The driver's door will now lock and unlock itself one time. Press and hold the "LOCK" button on the key fob for at least 1 second. Close the driver's door. Open the driver's door. Press and hold the "LOCK" button on the key fob for at least one second. Close the driver's door. Press and hold the "LOCK" button on the key fob. The door will lock. Press and hold the "LOCK" button on the key fob again. The door will unlock.
  4. Hey guys., i just bought 2 replacement seatbelts for my 94 gs. I previosuly purchased a belt from a 95 and it swapped fine. Now I boiught these 2 seatbelt also said to be for a 95 and they are totally different. The part numbers on the new ones are 73220-30660-E0 and 73210-30710-E0 . i cant find a part number on mine. Ive included some pics. Any ideas what belts these are? The one I pulled from a 95 is the one on the right with the big yellow clip. The other is the new one.
  5. Hello everyone. Heres the deal. I have a 1994 GS300, since i got it the airbag light has been lit solid. The drivers side seatbelt was broken. I replaced the seatbelt assembly and followed instructions on MKIV.com to reset the SRS system. Now the airbag light is blinking rather than staying lit. What does this mean and how can I fix it? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
