  1. ***Follow up: it was ignition coil #5 that had failed.... dealer fixed under extended warranty. problem is gone, car is back to its 'before' power.***
  2. Wife's '07 just had this problem... also ingnition coil (#5 in this case) dealer fixed under extended warranty....
  3. Wife called me just now... Same problem...Check Engine/VSC/Trac Off. So strange. This has been a great car for us, a true work horse so to speak with the amount of driving/kid and grocery hauling we do, will schedule an appointment with Lexus today and see what the problem is. Will update the forum (for anyone interested) when I hear back. ps, ours has about 48K miles...
  4. Wife's RX 350 does it, too. great feature, wish my IS had it as well!
  5. Glad you got your smarts back! My good friend just got an 09 A4 and I just think overall, the interior feels very VW. The ride is nice, but as an overall package, the IS can't be beat right now. Just my opinion....
  6. The owner should be able to set it up so that s/he can close all the windows/moonroof from the remote! (I think Mercedes lets you do this....)
  7. use dental floss to take the adhesive off; non-waxed kind.
  8. Hey tdog, OUCH! It doesn't matter the cost; it's a Lexus. The car's too beautiful to neglect! Replace it QUICKLY!
  9. see picture/attachment... is this what you mean?
  10. The RX does have a very feminine 'curvacious' design; unlike ze jehmans with their hard-angular lines.... and the steering is much softer too...... but SUCH a nice car.
