  1. :cries: if its a run on type of buzz noise .......sorry.......but... the starter will fail in the future. no telling how long. cross your fingers. seen it before
  2. hey 2lexii, you live in nj, so do i,do you not remember the winter we had? all of the potholes we had?, well, all of these holes leave stones loose in the road ways. the position of the glass on the lx is pretty verticle...not to mention huge. it's a very large target for stones. i happen to see alot of stone chips every day due to my position of employment. it's not just you and its not just your lx's,its our terrible road departments in nj.
  3. wow, that's funny!,,, the only think lexus is working on it a new insulation so you can't hear the tick noise. the perception is that there is a "problem", not true. the injectors do operate properly. the issue is insulation. the reason i chuccle is that i am the dealer and where i work is one of the test sites where tsb's are made..hang in there cheif, your in the 10% club, only 10% of all who own the ca complain of the noise to begin with. i would'nt hold my breath waiting for this one!
  4. BRO,,, the ticking is the fuel injectors! they had to make the sping tension firm in the new injectors to make it a low emissions vehicle, and there is no fix,,,,, turn the radio up
  5. hi, generally... it depends where you go, to sum it up, all of the filters-air,a/c cabin, pcv, and fuel all of the fluids-oil, trans, brake, coolant, top off power steering and washer repl/ thermostat, wipers, ignition wires(optional),set alignment, rotate tires, balance tires --- and all of the basic checks... depending on the current history of the car. possable a timming belt and water pump (if leaking )
  6. hi, the hooks are available, they will replace one of the oh,s... handles other than that, i've read your questions and can't understand your grammer give it another try with your eyes open and i'll try as hard as i can to answer
  7. heyguys, there are many types of anti fungi deodorizers out there to kill the tame, but anoying smells. 1 thing... some of them are so strong that repeated use can and will remove the protective coating on the evap.core and cause it to rust. if you have a repeating foul odor and tryed the filters and deodorizers then there is a chance that the evaporator in the vehicle needs to be replaced due to performance. i've done it and had sucess.the best bandaid i ever used was a 50/50 mix of bleach and water, i use an atomizer and run it in the a/c matrix for about 20 min.CAUTION.. heavy use will stain the carpet-and do not get in the car until it has aired out for a few hours.i dont use more than a 1/4 cup of each and never stained a carpet. i do know people who did. good luck my smelly friends
  8. yes, you can say the truck does have shocks , so to speak....
  9. the suspension accumulators are the actula shocks in the system, the shocks are the unit that raise and lower the vehicle, when an accumulator bellows are not operational they lock up, as if there is a clogged passage
  10. the suspension fluid. the tank is on the fire wall on the pass side
  11. have you checked the fluid?
  12. yeah, the accumulators are abour $535 ea. and the labor is huge. they are not easy to swap and they take time, when it is done you must flush and bleed the system also. i would consult the dealer
  13. hmmm........ has someone added washer fluid to the overflow resivior? if not then you need suspension accumulators. sorry, see ya'
