  1. I did go with the Hankook's and I am very happy with the purchase. Almost half the price of the Michelins and in my opinion, just a good a tire. They are quiet, handle very well and have a great looking agressive tread. We will see on the tire life. I think these are the most "overlooked" tire out there. After doing some research on Hankook my decision was easy. They have been in business for many years and have signed an agreement with Michelin for manufacturing.....that should tell you something. Thanks, Keith :o
  2. I am typically a "Michelin Man" when it comes to tires but when I lived in Calgary I had a VW Touareg with Hankook Ventus and they were quiet and an excellent tire. I am now about to put tires on my 07 GS350 and thinking seriously about going with the Ventus V12 Evo K110 tires in a 245-40-18 size. Any experience here with this tire? The price is very competitive when compared to the Michelins and I am about to give them a try. Any comments would be appreciated. Regards, Keith La Quinta, Ca
  3. Thanks for the response steve. If I go wth the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S in the OEM Size 245-40-18 will they be quiet????? That's really what I am trying to accomplish. Thanks, Keith
  4. My car has the OEM Michelin Primacy HP tires and the have 31,000 miles on them and need to be replaced soon. The Primacy HP's are very loud and I do not want to go with them this time. In the interest of going to a "quiet" tire, I am considering the Michelin Primacy MXV4 in a 245-45-R18 instead of the 245-40-R18's on the car now. Is there any negative impact on changing the tire size from 40 to 45?? I realize I will give up some performance in doing this but I am looking for a quieter tire with a better wear rating (60,000 Miles on the MXV4) Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Keith
  5. Dave, Thanks very much. I will check out those products. Cheers, Keith
  6. Jason, Anything new on this? I have the same problem and will be taking my car to the dealer on Tuesday. (07 GS350s 18" five spokes) Thanks, Keith
  7. I am not a fan of Armorall so I wonder what if anything, people are treating the dashboard surface with. Mine looks like it could use something but don want to make a mistake. I do not want a shinny dashboard. Anything from Zaino that would work well??? Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated. Keith B La Quinta, CA
