  1. I have a 99 LS400 and the only thing that needs work (so far) is the cruise control. I'd be extremely grateful if you could go into laymans detail about your fix. Mine looks/feels like someone got mad at it and took their anger out on the lever. It's loose and difficult to manuver accurately. Way too much play in the controler. Anyone take one apart before? Thanks! g
  2. Bless you! That worked perfectly. However after completeing the removal procedure, I noticed a cylindrical piece of plastic, which was broken, sitting in the bottom of the cup-holder containment area. Am i to assume that is some protective cap to keep the small spring for the base where the cup bottom rests from coming off? It looked like someone tried to force it open and cracked that item. I may just leave the holder open although it seems to work flawlessly now. Just wondering. Hate completeing assembly with extra parts lying around. Thanks again. Wow, that was crappy under there. 3. Bless you! I was going to suggest someone take that task on as a joke. Thanks so much for your efforts. A real time savor. Link works fine btw. Thanks again. G Unit
  4. Thanks for the location! I'll see if that helps.
  5. I guess i left out the obvious. The "reservoir" has plenty of fluid.
  6. I found this site because I just purchased a 99 SL400 and know very little about it. I'm a starving artist (see attachment) currently working on paintings for Mercedes Benz showrooms across America. Since they wouldn't barter a car for my efforts, I found a sweet deal on the Lexus and LOVE IT! Want a painting of your car? Let me know. I'm very reasonable. See more work at artxp.com Search by artist and find G Linderman. Love the site. Have learned tons already. Thanks!
  7. I am just getting ready to purchase this car and think there must be a sensor that has come disconnected causing the perpetual low washer fluid display in the dash. Where might on find this sensor/relay. Thanks so much! Gordon
